Vote for a Great Cause

April 17, 2009 at 2:04PM by Molly Kissler |

Do Something Logo is a nonprofit site that helps connect people to volunteer opportunities in areas they really care about. From animal welfare, to disaster relief, to education, they've got it all. And guess what? Do Something has been nominated for a Webby, which is like the Oscars for Websites!

Do Something is in the Youth category in the Living section, which means that they are up against media giants like MTV and Marvel Comics. But, unlike MTV and Marvel, Do Something was founded recently for less than $150,000, and independent from a larger company. Impressive!

As a nominee, Do Something is also eligible to win a Webby People's Voice Award, which is voted for online by the global Web community. From now until April 30th, fans can cast their votes in The Webby People's Voice Awards! So, go here and vote for Do Something! Websites don't get much more deserving than this one.
